The MRRA Masters Sweep program starting in May is designed for the sweep rower with at least a year of sweep experience, including those who have completed Learn To Sweep in a prior year, collegiate rowers looking for continued training during the summer, or the sculler looking for a little relief from the challenge of two oars.
Follow the instructions from your membership confirmation e-mail to login and choose "MEMBERSHIP" and "MSWEEP1" as your program choices. Optionally choose MSWEEP2 if you know you want to row through the fall.

if you have any questions or would like more information.
Depending on the level of subscription, we expect to float at least one eight, or perhaps an eight and a four or maybe two fours. Sessions normally last 90 minutes.
If you are a competitive collegiate rower looking to continue a high-level regimen during the summer, consider the Open Sweep program instead. There is a higher commitment in that program, but a higher work ratio as well.
There are two Masters Sweep sessions that run consecutively from May through the Fall head racing season. Participation in both programs is not necessary, but if you do participate in either program, a high rate of attendance and commitment is expected for scheduling and planning purposes.
Program Details
At least a year of sweep or significant sculling experience is necessary.
Expect to be on the water for at least 75 minutes in each session or more likely 90 minutes. Coaching instruction will be mixed with drills and longer workout pieces, providing a good mix of instruction and exercise.
Capacity in the program is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
